LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky head coach John Calipari says a loss to Arkansas on Saturday wouldn't be the end of the world for his team - even with the Wildcats on the brink of a No. 1 ranking.
The coach says Kentucky's long-term goal is to play for the No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament, not becoming the top team in the nation in the middle of the regular season.
Star point guard John Wall agrees with his coach, but with an added twist.
Wall says that though Kentucky (18-0, 3-0 Southeastern Conference) wasn't focused on a No. 1 ranking, a loss to Arkansas (8-10, 1-2) isn't something they want on their resume.
