A group of ASU students help those in need overseas

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)  Two students at Arkansas State University adopted a child in Africa. . .and then began a project to help an entire community.

Kristen Dorsey adopted a little boy from Zimbabwe named Love More.

During the process of helping him, she and her friends decided they needed to do more.

They then decided to work to raise over twenty thousand dollars.

Kristen Dorsey, "We're trying to get a healthcare center right now, through Compassion International. It's twenty-five thousand dollars for the healthcare center and we've raised about five thousand, so far."

There are a number of fundraisers taking place you can participate in to help Dorsey and her friends.

T-shirts are on sell in support of the project for 15 dollars each.

Also, you can buy a raffle ticket for a set of grizzley tickets valued at three hundred dollars.
