Missouri Tigers Football announce recruiting class

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Missouri's 23-player recruiting class features quarterback Blaine Gabbert's younger brother Tyler, also a quarterback, and a pair of top offensive line prospects.

Missouri, 8-5 last season, landed nine players from Texas on Wednesday. The Tigers have played in bowl games in Texas the last four seasons, perhaps helping their recruiting efforts.

Nick Demien of Timberland High School in Wentzville heads a list of 6 recruits from the state of Missouri. Mitch Morse of St. Michael's Academy in Austin, Texas, is the other highly rated offensive tackle.

Following his brother's route to Missouri, Tyler Gabbert of Parkway West High School in suburban St. Louis switched a commitment from Nebraska.
