Suspect in jail in slaying of Forrest City woman

FORREST CITY, Ark. (AP) - Police in Forrest City say a man arrested on a murder complaint in St. Louis is being charged with murder of a Forrest City woman in September.

Police say 43-year-old Theodis Hill faces capital murder and abuse of a corpse charges in the death of 40-year-old Marissa Lowe. Lowe's body was found Sept. 22 by a utility worker.

An autopsy determined she died of strangulation.

Police say Hill was arrested in a separate murder case in St. Louis and is in jail there without bail.

It wasn't clear whether he has an attorney.
