BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) – A New York male model finds himself in trouble with the law after police say he offered them sexual favors to be released.
According to the Independence County Sheriff's Department, 21-year-old Nicholas Snider was arrested early Monday morning, and is facing charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and attempt to influence a public servant.
Police say they were called to a home at 2059 Allen Chapel Road around 1:45 Monday morning. When they arrived on scene, police say Snider met them outside the home and appeared intoxicated. Police say Snider was having a hard time speaking and standing, and had to physically grab him a couple of times to keep him from falling.
According to the police report, Snider was in Batesville visiting a friend. An argument ensued, and the friends asked Snider to leave. The friend said Snider left but came back and started yelling at her and asked her to hit him, but would never leave the residence.
Independence County Sheriff Deputies placed Mr. Snider under arrested and placed him in the back of a cruiser. According to the deputy, on the way to the jail, Mr. Snider kept trying to get him to stop the car and let him go. The deputy says Snider even offered sexual favors to let him go. When the deputy arrived at the jail he said Mr. Snider continued to offer sexual favors to him and the booking jailer.
Snider has appeared in several Prada campaigns and in 2008 was ranked by Forbes as the fifth-most successful male model.
Nicholas Snider pled not guilty in an Independence County Courtroom, and is due back in court on February 17th.
