Medical license of Jonesboro doctor is revoked

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The medical license of a Jonesboro neurosurgeon has been revoked by the Arkansas State Medical Board.

The board voted Thursday to take away the license of Dr. Kenneth Dewayne Eubanks for overprescribing medication and for writing prescriptions to patients for drugs that he took himself.

Eubanks did not attend the hearing and could not be reached for comment. A woman who answered the phone at a number listed for him said he is on medical leave and isn't returning.
