NEELYVILLE, MO (KAIT) – Two people accused of robbing a Region 8 truck stop with a gun are behind bars.

According to the Butler County Sheriff's Department, Joseph Little and Sheila Brown walked into the Stateline Truck Stop on January 25 wielding a gun and demanding money.

Police say Little is the suspect who entered the business with the gun, while Brown collected the money.

Police estimate about $1,200 was taken in the robbery. Once the robbery was complete, police say Little duct taped the hands of the store clerk and a customer inside.

Both are charged with armed robbery, armed criminal action, and felonious restraint. Brown is being held on a $50,000 bond, and Little on a $500,000 bond. Both are currently in the Butler County Jail.
