Police: Three teens charged with robbing Region 8 business

SIKESTON, MO (KAIT) – Three teens are behind bars charged with robbing a fast food restaurant at gun point.

According to Sikeston Police, three suspects robbed the Sonic Drive Inn on North Main Friday night around 10:15.

A victim told police that three men entered the business wielding a gun, and then left the store on foot. A police K-9 unit tracked a sent to East Kathleen Street, where 3 teens were detained earlier in the night by police.

Police brought the teens to the business, where the victim made a positive identification.

Police arrested 17-year-old Cleveland Roberson and 17-year-old Traversial Scott and charged them with first degree robbery and armed criminal action. Their bonds were set at $100,000, and they remain in the Scott County Jail.

The third suspect is 16-year-old is in the Mississippi County Detention Center. His name is not being released because he is a juvenile.
