Red Wolves Fall To Troy Saturday 64-57 In Regular Season Finale

Jonesboro (KAIT) - John Brady and company closed out the regular season Saturday night, needing a win and some help for a chance at a first round bye in the Sun Belt Tournament.

Troy grabbed a victory and a regular season title. Brandon Hazzard's 20 points and Michael Vogler's 19 led the Trojans to a 64-57 win. The first half was back and forth, tied at 28 after 20 minutes. The Trojans slowly pulled away in the second half.

Martavius Adams led ASU with his 4th double-double of the season. He had 18 points and 14 rebounds. Daniel Bryant also had 18 points, nailing four threes. But they were the only Red Wolves in double figures. Brandon Reed was held to 5, and Rashad Allison only had 2.

The loss gives ASU the five-seed in next week's Sun Belt Tournament. They'll face a familiar opponent in UALR in the 1st Round. Tipoff is next Saturday night at 6:45pm in Hot Springs.
