JONESBORO, Ark. -- The ASU Armory was the site of a deployment Ceremony held for the 875th National Guard Engineering Battalion out of Jonesboro. This group of more than one hundred civil soldiers left Saturday for Fort Lewis, Washington and from there will receive additional military training.

Lieutenant First Class Marden Hueter is in charge of the unit, "As citizen soldiers we're leaving loved ones and family behind, that is tough, but it is our duty. His wife Megan will miss him, but also will support everything that he does, "We've had time to spend together and cope with it, it's not hit all at once, now in a month or I'll probably realize he's gone, or sooner, but I'm really proud of him."

Like the other soldiers, lieutenant Hueter understands freedom comes at a cost, but that cost will be worth it.
