JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - People say being a stay at home mom is one of the hardest jobs there is.
An international organization called "Mom's Club" has a local chapter right here in Jonesboro.
There purpose is to offer support, encouragement, and advice.
Members of the group say this is also a value opportunity to provide mother's with new social contacts and possible activities for their children.
Catherine Willis has been a member for seven years and says it's a definite lifeline, "The mom's club does most of the activities during the day and that's when moms find they need the most support. The husbands are at work and as much as we love our children we need adult interaction and our children need children interaction."
Though this chapter is in Jonesboro, they say all mothers in the Northeast Arkansas area are welcome to join.
The organization currently has twenty adult members and thirty-seven children.
