Mizzou Football 2010 season tickets on sale

Columbia, Mo.(KAIT) – The 2010 Mizzou Football season is never too far away, and with that, it is never too early for Tiger fans to start making plans to experience the pageantry and excitement of Mizzou Football weekends. Beginning Monday, March 8th, fans can purchase their season tickets to catch all of the action at Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium in a highly-anticipated 2010 season. Six games line the home schedule in 2010, including highlighted matchups against Big 12 North rivals Colorado and Kansas State, as well as a Homecoming showdown with longtime nemesis Oklahoma.

General public season tickets are available for $292, with other pricing levels of $237 for Faculty-Staff, $209 for the Tiger Zone and $180 for Young Alumni seating. As previously announced, a new premium seating area in the south end zone bleachers, called Touchdown Terrace, is also available for the first time, and more information can be found about this section by visiting MUTigers.com, or by calling 573-882-0704. 

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.mutigers.com, or can be reserved in person at the Mizzou Arena Ticket Office, or via phone at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Mid-Missouri). 

Renewal order forms and additional information was mailed over the past week to 2009 season ticket holders, with a deadline of April 23rd for reserving their previously-held seats. Fans are encouraged to be on the lookout in their mailboxes for the information, and to contact the MU Ticket Office with questions. 

Spring football practice kicks off this Tuesday, March 9th, and culminates with the annual Black & Gold Spring Game, which is set for Saturday, April 17th at 1 p.m.

The full 2010 home schedule includes: Sept. 11 (McNeese State), Sept. 18 (San Diego State), Sept. 25 (Miami, Ohio), Oct. 9 (Colorado), Oct. 23 (Oklahoma – Homecoming), and Nov. 13 (Kansas State).
