PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO (KAIT) – The Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department needs your help in catching the person or persons who's stealing copper wiring around the county.
According to the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department, in the past week they've responded to at least 5 different reports of copper wiring being removed from different buildings.
The sheriff's department says approximately $70,000 in wiring had been stolen from five pivots. Police think the stolen copper is being taken to local salvage yards in the Missouri Bootheel area.
