Two Heartland men arrested in drug traffic stop on Highway 60

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - The Dexter Police Department have arrested two men after making a drug bust on Wednesday, March 17 after a stop on Highway 60.

Police say a warrant was obtained for Scott M. Manhal, 43, of Poplar Bluff after they searched the car he was in and found what appeared to be drugs.

On Thursday March 18, police were called to the 200 block of Clements about a street fight.  Police stopped several people and found marijuana and a gun in one car. 

Searches by the K-9 unit found apparently 111 grams of what appeared to be marijuana.

Police took into custody Shaun M. Meeham, 20, of Dexter with a warrant for Class C felony of possession of more than 35 grams of marijuana and a Class A misdemeanor or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Manhal has a cash only bond of $15,000. Meeham has a cash only bond of $25,000.

Both men are in the Stoddard County jail.
