Williams Baptist Softball clinic set for April 10

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (KAIT) - The Williams Baptist College softball team will hold its annual softball clinic on Saturday, April 10. The one-day clinic will include fundamentals in throwing, fielding, base running and hitting.

The clinic is open to girls ages seven to 14, with different age groups taking part at different times of the day.

The session for girls who are seven and eight years old will take place 8:30-10:30 a.m. Those who are ages nine and 10 will have a session from 10:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. And the session for girls 11 to 14 years old will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Cost will be $15 per child, and pre-registration is not necessary. The camp will be led by the WBC coaching staff and players, including a number of former Arkansas high school All-State athletes.

The clinic will be held at the WBC Softball Field. Participants should bring their own glove, bat, cleats and helmet.
