Body of missing teenager found in Lake Ouachita

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - The body of a missing Helena-West Helena teenager who disappeared when his canoe overturned on Lake Ouachita last week - has been found in the lake.

Garland County sheriff's Lt. James Martin says searchers found the body of 19-year-old Curtis Payton Clark in more than 40 feet of water about 3 p.m. Monday.

Authorities say Clark and a friend were canoeing Thursday when winds capsized the canoe about 200 yards from shore.

The friend was able to swim to shore while Clark disappeared in the water.
