Hunter Mickelson named Arvest Bank State Co-Player Of The Year

Little Rock (KAIT) - The honors keep rolling in for Westside center Hunter Mickelson. He was named the HS Boys Player of the Year earlier this month, and Monday night he was recognized by the Downtown Tip-Off Club.

Mickelson and Conway's Preston Purifoy shared the Arvest Bank Player of the Year award. He averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors, helping to lead them to the 4A State Championship.

Mickelson and some of the top high school players in the Natural State will play in the NEA Showcase Saturday at Jonesboro High School.
