Routine traffic stop leads to 3 arrested in Region 8

CROSS COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – The Cross County Sheriff's Department makes a routine traffic stop that ends with three people arrested facing multiple drug charges.

According to the Cross County Sheriff's Department, George Golden, Tommy Joe Catlett, and Athena Parmalee are all facing various drug charges after police find multiple drugs after a traffic stop.

Police say when police searched the car the three were in, they found alcohol, meth, and drug paraphernalia.

All three face possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

George Golden faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance for marijuana.
