Multi agency drug round-up in Region 8 lands eight in jail

SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – An undercover operation in Region 8 lands eight people in jail on various drug charges.

According to the Sharp County Sheriff's Department, on Tuesday multiple agencies came together in arresting eight people accused of selling an array of illegal drugs.

Arrested were: Melinda Gean Lee for delivery of Methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, and Xanax. Her bond was set at $10,000. Kyla Denise Hicks for delivery of Morphine, Hydrocodone, and Xanax. Her bond was set at $5,000.

Eric T. Horton was arrested for three counts of delivery of marijuana, and officers also found 1/2 pound of marijuana and one handgun at Horton's residence. His bond was set at $20,000.

Clarence Wilson Jr. was arrested for two counts of delivery of Methamphetamine, and Oxycontin. His bond was set at $10,000.

Benjamin Breashears is charged with delivery of Methamphetamine, and had his bond set at $2,500.

Zabrien Alen Meek is charged with two counts of delivery of Methamphetamine, and had his bond set at $10,000.

Richard Patton Jr. was arrested for delivery of Methamphetamine, and had his bond set at $5,000.

Donald Ray Patrick is charged with delivery of Hydromorphone, and had bond set at $5,000.

Three other suspects have warrants for their arrest and are still at large.

Drug Task Force agents, Sharp County Sheriff's Department, Arkansas State Police, Hardy Police, Cherokee Village Police, and Ash Flat Police Departments participated in the round-up.
