Two in Region 8 arrested; charged with multiple break-ins

WHITE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Region 8 police make two arrests after several cars were reported broken into in the Beebe area.

According to the White County Sheriff's Department, 21-year-old David Aldridge and 24-year-old Joseph Spears broke into cars in the Pinewood, Rosewood, and Woodlawn areas of Beebe.

Police say the two suspects confessed to the thefts and all of the property stolen has been recovered and is being returned to the owners.

Police say the stolen items include two bicycles, money, bank cards, a laptop, a Sony Playstation, a solar panel, cell phones, and a set of binoculars.

The suspects told police they walked through the neighborhoods and opened unlocked doors to cars and random homes.

Police say both Aldridge and Spears are facing felony theft charges.
