LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Senate continues to meet tonight after action by the Joint Budget Committee on a spending bill.

The panel approved a bill that sets forth spending priorities for the next two budget years. It includes money anticipated from a 15 percent tobacco tax increase that is contained in a pending House bill. The spending measure also assumes the state will tap its property tax relief fund and unclaimed property fund.

The regular legislative session is to end tomorrow.
