Police: 2 run from cops; caught and face multiple drug charges in Region 8

WYNNE, AR (KAIT) – Two in Region 8 are behind bars and facing multiple drug charges after running from police.

According to the Cross County Sheriff's Department, on Friday police noticed suspicious activity between 43-year-old Alfreddie Neal and 45-year-old Effie Grice on Martin Luther King Drive and Williams Street.

Police say after a foot chase, they were able to catch and arrest both suspects.

Police have charged both with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
