LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Former President George W. Bush has two stops in Arkansas planned on Thursday.
Bush has an afternoon event scheduled at El Dorado High School, where he is to be the keynote speaker for Academic Signing Day. Students will announce their college choices at the assembly.
Signing day is notable at the school because of the El Dorado Promise scholarships, funded by $50 million from Murphy Oil Corp. All students graduating from El Dorado High will have up to 100 percent of their college tuition paid if they continue their education.
Bush is to speak at Harding University in Searcy at 7 p.m. Thursday as part of the school's distinguished lecture program.
