Molina, Cardinals beat slumping Braves 4-3

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Yadier Molina's RBI double snapped an eighth-inning tie and Colby Rasmus homered in the St. Louis Cardinals' 4-3 victory over the Braves on Monday night, sending Atlanta to its sixth straight loss.

Troy Glaus had two hits and an RBI for the Braves, who have been outscored 23-9 during their worst slump since dropping six in a row to end 2009. Glaus is a career .567 hitter (17 for 30) against the Cardinals, who allowed him to leave as a free agent after he missed virtually all of last season rehabbing from shoulder surgery.

Albert Pujols had three hits and an RBI for the Cardinals, who've won the opener in all but 1 of 7 series. Pujols had a run-scoring groundout in the sixth and doubled off Takashi Saito (0-1) to open the eighth.
