JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Suspicious activity at a home in Jonesboro, leads police to find marijuana growing inside.
According to the Jonesboro Police Department, a search warrant was served at David Wayne Ladd of Jonesboro at 507 Freeman Street.
Police say once inside they found over three pounds of marijuana, including recently harvested plants, grow lights, plant food, and other items used for growing marijuana.
Ladd is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance over one ounce/less than ten pounds with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal attempt to manufacture marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance.
Ladd is currently free on a temporary bond.
Jonesboro Prowl Unit, 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force, and the Craighead County Sheriff's Department all contributed in the bust.
