Region 8 Police need your help after armed robbery early Wednesday

SEARCY, AR (KAIT) – The Searcy Police Department needs your help in locating a man who they say robbed two Sonic employees as they dropped off their nightly deposit.

According to the Searcy Police Department, two Sonic employees were at the First Security Bank at 1901 West Beebe Capps around 12:15 Wednesday morning to make their nightly deposit. Police say that's when a black male walked up to them with a gun and took their money bag.

The black males is described to be in his early 20's, approximately 5 foot 7, and weights around 15-160 pounds.

The suspect ran on foot westbound from the bank.

Searcy Police are asking if you have any information on this armed robbery to contact them at 501-268-3531.
