SEARCY – Harding head volleyball coach Keith Giboney announced the signing of three players to NCAA National Letters of Intent. Joining the Lady Bisons for the 2010 season are Lisa Copeland, a 5-9 outside hitter from Huntsville, Ala., Jordan Creamer, a 5-4 defensive specialist from Arlington, Tenn., and Stephanie Easterly, a 6-0 middle blocker from Fair Grove, Mo.
Copeland attends Grissom High School and led her team with 548 kills and 72 blocks. She helped lead the squad to the Alabama Class 6A championship game and earned 1st Team All-State honors. Copeland was selected to play in the Alabama High School All-Star Game.
Creamer is a senior at Harding Academy of Memphis where she was named the team's defensive player of the year. Her squad won two state championships in her three years on the varsity. As a senior, Creamer was named honorable mention All-Region.
Easterly earned 2nd Team All-District honors at Fair Grove High School. Her team won 31 games her senior season and advanced to the state quarterfinals after winning the district championship.
The three signees bring Harding's total to five. Molly Arnold of Bono, Ark., and Alyssa Short of The Woodlands, Texas signed during the early signing period.
