Region 8 man busted with LSD hits shaped like teddy bears

INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Region 8 Police bust a man who they say was selling LSD with a teddy bear imprinted on them out of a hotel room.

According to the Independence County Sheriff's Department, they received a tip that Kalob West and Tiffany Blue were selling drugs out of the Ramada Inn.

Police say West was visited by probation officials and officers from the Drug Task Force where police found 64 small perforated square hits of LSD. Police say the hits had teddy bears imprinted on them. Police also seized over $4,500 in cash.

West was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver LSD, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use. West's bond was set at $50,000.

    According to Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller, two teenagers, who were both seniors in high school, are dead after a train versus truck crash near County Road 154 north of Corning.
