Little Rock road to be closed for rail-crossing repairs

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - City officials say a portion of Confederate Boulevard is to be closed at Little Rock on Friday so railroad-crossing repairs can be made.

An announcement from the city said Confederate Boulevard would be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday so Union Pacific Railroad workers can make repairs on the street's rail crossing.

The announcement said detour routes would be posted in the vicinity of the repairs.
