ROGERS, AR (AP) - Police in Rogers say a juvenile corrections officer was treated and released after being attacked by a juvenile she was taking to a doctor's office in Rogers.
Police say officer Leanna Harmon was attacked Thursday by the boy when she removed his seat belt. He choked her and shoved her head into the security cage of the car before trying to run away.
The boy was handcuffed and shackled and was caught by a passer-by in a nearby field and held until police arrived.
The boy's name and age were not released.
