WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) - Two Region 8 residents are behind bars Saturday night accused of numerous drug related counts.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department Kenneth Bass of Black Rock and Haley Heller of Pocahontas were arrested around 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Autumn Inn in Imboden.

The two are accused of possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use, and possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture.

Officers were able to make the arrests thanks to a call from a concerned citizen in the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department. The caller was concerned methamphetamine was being manufactured inside a room at the inn.

Deputies knocked on the door and when the accused opened the door deputies could see the components of the lab and both individuals were arrested.

Deputies also found pseudoephedrine pills, scales and other items needed to ingest methamphetamine.

Bass and Heller are currently at the Lawrence County Jail. A bond hearing will be held on Monday.
