JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - It was business as usual Saturday at the ASU Farmers Market but with a few changes.
Construction started earlier this month on a new building to provide shelter for customers and vendors. The market reopened for business and will remain open on Saturdays through October 30th. Organizers say they had nine vendors and had over three hundred people come through by 9 a.m.
"By 8:30 a.m. I was sold out and I had a huge table of all kinds of vegetables and all kinds of greens and I'm totally wiped out," said Dr. Kim Pittcock.
Starting on June 8th the market will also be open from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. every Tuesday.
