Three Region 8 soccer coaches named to All-Star staffs

North Little Rock (AAA) - Westside's Amanda Carter, Paragould's Tim Chatman, and Batesville's TJ Shroud will head to Fayetteville as assistant coaches.

The Arkansas Activities Association announced the head coaches and coaching staffs for the 2010 East-West Tyson/Arkansas Army National Guard/Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Soccer games on June 22, 2010. This marks the 7th year of All-Star soccer competition.

The All-Star soccer games will be played on Tuesday, June 22nd at Razorback Field on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. The girls' game will start at 6:00 p.m. and the boys' game is scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m.

The head coach for the East girls' soccer team is Julie Long of Bryant and the head coach for the West girls' soccer team is Gena McGee of Fayetteville.

The head coach for the East boys' soccer team will be Jason Hay of Bryant and the head coach for the West boys' soccer team is Stephen Peck of Rogers.

Long's East girls' soccer staff will consist of Amanda Carter of Westside, Tim Chatman of Paragould and Leah Coleman of Mountain Home. McGee's West girls' soccer staff will consist of Dan Childress of Gentry, TJ Slough of Greenbrier and Roger Williams of Texarkana.

Hay's East boys' soccer staff will consist of Bryan Mattox of Mountain Home, Chuck Speer of Conway Christian and TJ Stroud of Batesville. Peck's West boys' soccer staff will consist of Don Earnest of Berryville, Brian Gibson of Sheridan and Chris Pratt of Harrison.

The 2010 Arkansas High School Coaches Association Coaches Clinic will be held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Fayetteville, June 23-25.
