Arkansas Highway Department plans meet on Quitman work

QUITMAN, AR (AP) - The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says it plans a meeting Thursday at Quitman to discuss its plans for improvements on Arkansas 25.

The agency said in a news release that the plans call for adding passing lanes, both northbound and southbound, on Arkansas 25 between the town of Quitman and the highway's intersection with Arkansas 107.

The meeting is to be held at 4 p.m. at Quitman City Hall in the town in the southwest corner of Cleburne County.
