Informant to be ID'd in case against ex-prosecutor

SHERIDAN, AR (AP) - Authorities are being ordered to reveal the identities of any informants in the drug case against former prosecutor Dan Harmon.

Circuit Judge Chris Williams on Wednesday said defense attorneys for Dan Harmon must have the identities and access to the criminal histories of the informants. The defense must also be given any details about allegations of failed drug buys involving Harmon.

Harmon was arrested in Sheridan in February on felony charges of illegally delivering hydrocodone and morphine.

He has pleaded not guilty.

Harmon is a former prosecutor in Saline, Grant and Hot Spring counties. He served 11 years in prison after being convicted on public corruption charges.
