Ark. man charged with killing alligators, turkey

TEXARKANA, Ark. (AP) - A southwest Arkansas man has been charged with killing three alligators and a turkey out of season and with illegally tagging deer.

Arkansas Game and Fish officials say 33-year-old Charles Milam Jr. of Winthrop faces two counts of hunting wildlife out of season and one of violating tagging requirements Wildlife officer Blake Broomfield says two alligators were killed in a pond in northwestern Little River County and a third at a lake in the southeastern part of the county.

He's also suspected of killing a turkey in northern Little River County and of illegally tagging several deer during the last deer season in the names of his children.
