Poker Run for Charity

Hoxie, AR (KAIT) - Some folks in revved up their motors to support the Lawrence County Children's shelter.  It was the 2nd annual Charity Poker Run held in Hoxie Saturday morning.  There were all sorts of activities for participants including a contest for the best display of the American Flag on a bike and the Poker run itself.

Ben Foley, Store manager of Cox Powersports says "the thing is the motorcyclists are really good about giving back and they love to do charity work for children and so they all come out. We had somewhere over 100 bikes today and probably over 150 to 175 riders".  Foley says the recently built Children's shelter benefits all of Northeast Arkansas and all proceeds raised in this event will go to that shelter.
