JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A Ravenden Springs man has pled guilty to stealing copper from several Region 8 construction sites.
According to the 2nd District Prosecuting Attorney's Office Shon David Lowery pled guilty to charges of breaking and entering, and theft of over $2,500.
The judge sentenced Lowery to 10 years probation, 5 years suspended sentence, and 90 days in the county jail.
Greene County authorities arrested Lowery in July after he was caught in possession of a large amount of copper construction materials during a traffic stop.
Jonesboro Police were notified, and suspected Lowery in several thefts from at least 12 different residential construction sites in Jonesboro. Lowery is also responsible for the theft of seventeen aluminum concrete forms from a local concrete pipe manufacturer.
