CARUTHERSVILLE, MO (KAIT) – A Cape Girardeau man is arrested after kicking in the door of a Caruthersville residence on Sunday.
Officers received a notice that an intruder had kicked in the door of a residence on 210 East 9th. Upon arrival at 8:45 p.m., the suspect was still on the scene. A 36-year-old black male of Cape Girardeau was taken into custody and placed in Pemiscot County Jail.
The suspect is held on the following charges: first degree burglary, three counts of child endangerment, and felony Property damage. He also has three warrants in Cape Girardeau, and one warrant from the Jackson Police Department.
His total bond is set at $103,500. The suspect's name is being withheld pending filing of formal charges by the Pemiscot County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
