Four arrested in Baxter County

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) – Several local law enforcement agencies worked together to arrest four people on drug related charges after executing a search warrant.

On Wednesday, officers had obtained warrants for a residence on Timber Lane Road off Highway 5 North in Baxter County. During the search, several items consistent with the production of methamphetamines were found including ammonium nitrate, lithium batteries, pseudoephedrine pills and Coleman fuel as well as finished methamphetamine product.

The four arrested are the following: Sidney R. Ply, 34, of Summit; Cody Lee Landurini, 19, of Yellville; Misty Dawn Russell, 27, of Yellville; and Beverly Ann Rogers, 25, of Midway.

Ply and Russell were both charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance and Manufacture of a Controlled Substance. Landurini and Rogers were charged with Manufacture of a Controlled Substance and Manufacture of a Controlled Substance Near Certain Facilities. Rogers also faces charges for Furnishing Prohibited Articles, and Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana. All four have a bond set at $25,000 with an appearance pending in Circuit Court.

The residence was located near a church which constitutes a separate offense carrying enhance penalties. All four were taken to Baxter County Detention Center.

Agencies participating in the investigation, search, and arrests include: Baxter County Sheriff's Office, Mountain Home Police Department, Arkansas State Police—CID Unit, and the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force.
