Two popular Branson shows are represented by outstanding performers on the next two "Gene Williams Country Television Show," the national award winning and only weekly television show about Branson and Nashville.
Marvin Short of the award-winning "50s at the Hop" and Dalena who is performing with Johnny Lee in a morning show at the Americana Theatre were guests in a recent taping, the first on the new set of the "Gene Williams Show" sponsored by Lucas Oil Products.
"We’ve got a brand new set at the studios of WB 31," said Williams, who is credited with blazing trails for country music television and is an inductee to the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. "Marvin gives a sample of his outstanding skill on the saxophone and Dalena even gets me involved in her solo for these shows. I know the audiences will enjoy the interviews with these two Branson artists."
Short, who performs with the 50s at the Hop at the Branson Mall Theatre, can be seen on the show set to air Sunday, May 4 at 10:30 p.m. on WB 31 Springfield/Branson; Saturday, May 10 at 6 a.m. in Little Rock/Fort Smith and Shreveport, La. on Channel 4 KARK/NBC and Dallas, Jonesboro, Ark., and Memphis, Tenn. on Channel 8 KAIT/ABC at 5 p.m.; and Saturday, May 17 on WB 58 Nashville at midnight.
Dalena, who has entertained at venues all over the world and captivated audiences with her own blend of humor and showmanship, is featured on the show which will air on Sunday, May 11 at 10:30 p.m. on WB 31 Springfield/Branson; Saturday, May 17 at 6 a.m. in Little Rock/Fort Smith and Shreveport, La. on Channel 4 KARK/NBC and Dallas, Jonesboro, Ark., and Memphis, Tenn. on Channel 8 KAIT/ABC at 5 p.m.; and Saturday, May 24 on WB 58 Nashville at midnight.
"The Gene Williams Show," which recently won a Telly Award, includes celebrity interviews, videos from the biggest, hottest names in country music such as Shania Twain, Trace Adkins, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Faith Hill and more.
