Jonesboro (ASU) - Speaking at the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce Power Breakfast Wednesday morning, ASU Director of Athletics Dr. Dean Lee unveiled ASU's "License to Howl" program, which will be held Aug. 21 at the ASU baseball parking lot.
In conjunction with ASU's student move-in day and football's Fan Appreciation Day, the License to Howl program will get underway at 9:00 a.m. and will feature food, prizes and Red Wolves license plates for all attending. Special drive-through lanes will be marked off in the parking lot, and ASU fans will be welcomed by ASU players, coaches, cheerleaders, the A-Team and staff members. ASU athletic personnel will also affix a Red Wolves license plate to the front of every vehicle.
"Football season is rapidly approaching, and ASU fans can get their 'License to Howl' for the Red Wolves in advance," said Lee. "Football season is always an exciting time and the 'License to Howl' program is a great opportunity for the athletic department to give something back to our students and fans for the tremendous amount of support they give us."
The promotion will also feature food and drinks compliments of Pepsi and Hays Grocery. Frozen treats will also be given out from the East Arkansas Broadcasters Polar Roller, along with prizes donated by EAB and Best Buy. KFIN Super Country 108 FM will also be on hand with a live remote, along with 101.9 KISS FM and 95.9 The Wolf.
