Arrest warrant issued for Turtle Creek Mall robbery

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - An arrest warrant has been issued by the Jonesboro Police Department for a man in a robbery that happened on June 30.

During the robbery, Jonesboro Police say Peggy McDonald was slung to the ground and robbed of her purse while leaving the Mall at Turtle Creek. Jonesboro Police Detective Chad Hogard has identified the suspect as 19-year-old Kevon Bullocks.

According to reports, McDonald was leaving the mall when she was approached by two black males.  Almost immediately, one of the men grabbed her purse causing her to fall down.  The men fled on foot.  A few days later, McDonald's purse and some of its contents were found strewn along Baswell Street.

Video from the Mall at Turtle Creek helped identify Bullocks.
