Two busted in Jonesboro hotel with meth

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Two people are arrested in a Region 8 hotel after police find meth in their room.

According to the Jonesboro Police Department, Chad Dennis and Melanie Metcalf were arrested after police served a search warrant at the Days Inn on Phillips Drive.

Police say they found components commonly used to cook meth, a meth pipe, a syringe, and a small amount of meth in the room.

Dennis is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, possession of meth less than 28 grams, and two counts of delivery of meth. Dennis had his bond set at $35,000.

Metcalf is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, possession of meth less than 28 grams. Metcalf had her bond set at $7,500.
