Arkansas WRs hope to make a name for themselves

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - None of Arkansas' wide receivers was named to even the second team on a pair of preseason all-Southeastern Conference teams last month. But Greg Childs, Joe Adams and Jarius Wright have high hopes for the coming season.

The three juniors are expected to team with quarterback Ryan Mallett to form 1 of the nation's best passing attacks. Those receivers combined for 118 receptions for 2,143 yards and 19 touchdowns a season ago.

The Razorbacks are trying to improve their intermediate routes, hoping that will lead to a better conversion rate on third down.
