Fayetteville (ESPN.com) - One of the deepest and most talented positions in the SEC this season is at receiver, which was only reinforced Tuesday when six SEC players were named to the watch list for the 2010 Biletnikoff Award -- presented annually to the nation's top college receiver.
Making the cut on the 51-player list were Arkansas' Greg Childs, Auburn's Darvin Adams, Kentucky's Randall Cobb, Georgia's A.J. Green, South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery and Alabama's Julio Jones. All six players were included on our countdown of the SEC's Top 25 players heading into the 2010 season.
The guy that wasn't on the watch list that jumped out at me was LSU's Terrance Toliver, who caught 53 passes last season for 735 yards and three touchdowns.
An SEC player hasn't won the Biletnikoff Award since LSU's Josh Reed was named college football's top receiver in 2001.
