ASU Cross Country releases 2010 schedule

Jonesboro (ASU) – The Arkansas State cross country program has announced their 2010 competition schedule which is set to begin Sept. 3 at the Arkansas Tech Twilight in Russlleville, Ark.

The Red Wolves will stay in state for their next meet at the UALR Invitational Sept. 11 in Little Rock.

A-State will run another twilight meet when the squad competes at the Memphis Twilight Classic in Memphis on Sept. 25 and then return to the Greater Louisville Classic on Oct. 2.

The team then heads up to the Chili Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark on Oct. 16. for their last tuneup before heading to the Sun Belt Conference meet being held in Bowling Green, Ky. on Oct. 30.

The South Central Regional will be held in Waco, Texas on Nov. 13 and the NCAA Championships will be held Nov. 22 in Terre Haute, Ind.

ASU has their top five female runners returning including the addition of Kristina Aubert a freshman that is expected to be a top performer on the course this season.

ASU's men's team is led by a pair of seniors in Derell and Terell Pigram who are returning this season. Bolstering the men's roster will be senior Bailey Bunyan who was hampered by injuries last season and should add some spark to the team.
