Jonesboro (ASU) - The Arkansas State baseball program announced Thursday that dates have been set and registration is open for the 2010 Tommy Raffo ASU Fall Baseball Camps. A fall team league and an individual prospect camp are scheduled in September and October at Tomlinson Stadium on the ASU campus.
Arkansas State Head Coach Tommy Raffo, along with assistants Chris Cook, Justin Meccage and volunteer assistant Cliff Wren will provide instruction at the camps. Current and former Red Wolves players will assist in the camp instruction as well.
The fall team league will consist of four Sundays where players are placed on teams to experience drills and game participation. The league will play Sept. 19, Sept. 26, Oct. 3 and Oct. 10 and will be open to players in grades 9-12. The cost to participate is $150, which includes a camp t-shirt. Games will be played between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m.
The fall prospect camp is designed for high school players that want to continue their playing career at the next level. It is open to players in grades 9-12, and the cost to participate is $100, and includes a t-shirt and lunch. The prospect camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. October 30.

Campers should provide their own hat, glove, helmet, bat, baseball pants and cleats. Campers should also bring tennis shoes in the event that the camp is held indoors due to bad weather. Catchers attending the camp should bring their catching gear, and campers should have their name clearly printed on all of their equipment.
