Murray Watts homers in 3rd straight game for Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls, ID (KAIT) - The Idaho Falls Chukars lost three of four to the Missoula Osprey, but Murray Watts made an impact in the series.

The former ASU slugger has hit home runs in the last three games, including a solo shot Thursday night in a 10-7 loss. Watts is hitting .299 with 12 HR and 45 RBI, good for 2nd in the Pioneer League.

The loss puts the Chukars at 4-15 in the second half of the season and last place in the Pioneer League South Division. They're nine games back of first place.

Idaho Falls travels to Helena, Montana to begin a three-game weekend series with the Brewers.
