Songs & testimony raise money for City Youth

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- Hundreds of parents and their children were treated to a very special concert Saturday at Arkansas State University.  Wade and Jeff Stotts of Central Baptist Church worked patrons into a  frenzy at the Fowler Center.

KAIT Morning Anchor Kristina Hamilton was the Emcee of the event, which is one of many fundraiser's for City Youth Ministries. One group of children were the first on stage and they sang about their faith.  "City Youth Ministries is a Christian, non-profit organization that focuses on the spiritual, emotional, educational and recreational needs of children six to 18 years of age" says director Rennell Woods.

Woods says more than 500 tickets were printed out for the event, which included worship and testimonies from 12 different acts.
